In addition to the Town Program Classic Team, Masco Youth Lacrosse offers the Select Program.  This is an additional tryout team called the Select Team, which provides an opportunity for players with demonstrated ability to hone their skills, participate in a competitive level of play, and gain experience in a play-to-win environment.  There are FOUR Select Teams:  Boys 5/6, Girls 5/6, Boys 7/8, and Girls 7/8.

• Teams are decided by tryout. 
• Players choosing to participate in the Select Program MUST also participate in the Classic Program.  This is a league rule and cannot be waived by town programs.
• Games are scheduled Friday nights or Saturdays and do not interfere with Sunday's Classic Team games.
• Practice - one practice during the week, (in addition to the classic team's practices).
• Season - March through June - 7 regular season games and 1 guaranteed playoff game (Win and "stay in" tournament)
• An additional fee is required for participation. 
• Game play time is at the discretion of the coach and is based on ability, performance, attendance, and is not guaranteed equal.
• No separate uniform for the Select Team; players wear their Classic team uniform.

Tuition:  $180

Season:  March to June, with playoff structure

Games:  Select Games are Friday evenings or Saturday mornings so they will not interfere with mandatory Classic games on Sundays.

Practices:  Select Teams will practice for 1 additional hour each week. This is sometimes added at the end of a class practice, but it might also be scheduled as a separate practice.
